Wilder vs Fury trilogy fight confirmed, date revealed

Tyson Fury’s promoter, Bob Arum, has confirmed that Deontay Wilder’s camp have officially triggered his rematch clause.

This means both boxers will face each other again in July.

“Wilder and his representatives formally notified us last night that they have accepted the rematch and are going forward.”

It’s going to happen in the summer, before the Olympics. Middle of July,” Arum told Ringside Reporter.

The pair drew their first fight in 2018, before Fury stopped Wilder in the seventh round to win the WBC heavyweight title in Las Vegas last Saturday.

Wilder had 30 days to call for a rematch and now his camp have ‘formally notified’ their intention for a trilogy.

It will also put the prospect of an all-British heavyweight unification fight between Fury and Anthony Joshua on hold.

Goalie Nnadozie Chiamaka of Rivers Angels Signs Deal With Paris FC

French Feminine Division 1 club Paris FC sign Rivers Angels and Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie on an 18-month contract.

The 19-year-old earned huge plaudits for her impressive performance at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France as the African Champions during reaches the knockout stage of the tournament.

FC Naija reports that Nnadozie linked up with Paris FC on a free transfer following the expiration of her contract with Port Harcourt based outfit and Nigeria Women Football League side Rivers Angels but the French giant will pay a ‘compensation fee’ and she will be drafted into the first team in February.

Super Eagles goalie who is expected to be the first choice, will return to Nigeria to sort out her document before returning in February.

Nnadozie has also represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-20 levels may miss Paris FC’s fixture against Dijon on February 8, the Nigerian goalkeeper is expected to lead the squad in their home game against Stade De Reims on 22nd February 2020.
